Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you and Leazesure Technologies Inc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), concerning your access to and use of https://leazesure.com as well as any related application or channel (collectively, the "Site").
You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with all of these Terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the Site and must discontinue use immediately.
1. Our Services
LeazeSure is a trust-first, end-to-end rental workflow platform. Our Services include:
- Tenant Passport: A verified profile combining identity verification, rental history, income proof, references, and credit data.
- Rent Reporting: Reporting on-time rent payments to Equifax Canada to help tenants build credit history.
- Property Listings & Discovery: Tools for landlords to list and for tenants to apply.
- Identity Verification (KYC): Third-party verification via Didit (liveness, face match, government ID).
- Lease Management: Digital lease agreement management and document storage.
- Payment Processing: Subscription payments via Stripe.
2. User Registration
You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account. You represent and warrant that all registration information is true and accurate, that you are not under 18, and that your use of the Site will not violate any applicable law.
3. Rent Reporting Terms
- You consent to us reporting your rent payment information to Equifax Canada and/or other credit bureaus.
- You acknowledge the information reported will be based on data you provide and payment records associated with your account.
- Late or missed rent payments may be reported and could negatively affect your credit score.
- Personal details provided (name, DOB, SIN, address) must be accurate and match your legal identity.
- Credit bureau reporting may take up to 30 days to reflect on your credit file.
- You agree to the applicable subscription fees displayed at time of enrollment.
4. Identity Verification
Our identity verification is powered by Didit. By using this feature you consent to sharing your selfie, government-issued ID, and biometric data with Didit. Your selfie may be stored as your profile avatar upon successful verification. We are not responsible for delays or failures in third-party verification services.
5. Payments and Subscriptions
- All payments are processed through Stripe.
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for applicable subscription fees.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- Refunds are handled case-by-case in accordance with our refund policy.
- We may change subscription pricing with reasonable notice.
6. Prohibited Activities
- Systematically retrieving data or content to compile a collection, database, or directory.
- Tricking, defrauding, or misleading us or other users.
- Circumventing, disabling, or interfering with security-related features of the Site.
- Harassing, abusing, or harming another person using information obtained from the Site.
- Uploading viruses, Trojan horses, or other malicious material.
- Providing false information in any enrollment, verification, or passport application.
- Impersonating another user or person.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
The Site is our proprietary property. All source code, databases, functionality, software, designs, media, text, and graphics, along with the trademarks and logos, are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us. No part of the Site may be reproduced or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion and without notice or liability, to deny access to and use of the Site to any person for any reason. If we terminate or suspend your account, you are prohibited from registering a new account.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Canada. You and Leazesure Technologies Inc irrevocably consent that the courts of Canada shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
11. Changes to Terms
We may make changes to these Terms of Service from time to time. We will alert you by updating the "Last updated" date above.
